Our new Nest Handler is a heavy-duty lever device that secures the EGG to the Nest frame to ensure greater stability and make it easier to move the EGG from place to place. The Nest Handler works like a hand truck and enables the EGG to be wheeled by one person, even on rough or uneven terrain. Available for the XLarge, Large and Medium models. A retrofit handler is available for older models of the Large EGG.

The Large Lattice Table with optional stainless steel top is the newest addition to our table models. Its features a new leg design for stability, smoother casters for easier movement and lattice work that adds a great finished look and strengthens the frame. Optional stainless steel top is available for added protection of the wood top. This table fits the Large EGG only.

The new chrome-plated 3Tier racks are now available for the Large EGG. The top two levels rotate and are adjustable to multiple levels to allow for a variety of foods. The 3Tier is easily disassembled to fit in the dishwasher and for easy storage. The new 3Tier racks work with or without the 2LFR.

A set of two flexible skewers have a stay-cool handle that hangs outside the grill. When marinating, the skewers fit in a bowl or bag so all of your food is covered. Our ceramic EGGs are heavy and not easily moved without a metal Nest or a wooden table, both available with casters. Either one raises the EGG® to a comfortable working height. Tables also provide convenient work space, as do EGG Mates, optional wooden fold-down shelves that attach to the Nest.

Nests are available for the Small, Medium, Large and XL EGGs. A low tripod stand is available for the Mini EGG and Chiminea.

Composite material EGG Shelves are available for the Small, Medium, Large and XL EGGs. Two shelves are included, one on each side of the EGG, and you can fold the shelves down when not in use. An optional third middle shelf is available for the Large and XL EGGs.

Wooden EGG Mates are available for the Medium, Large and XL EGGs. Two shelves are included, one on each side of the EGG. You can fold the shelves down when not in use, or to fit the EGG under the optional Vinyl Cover.

 Lump Charcoal, Wood Smoking Chips, Fire Starters, Planks

The EGG® will cook most efficiently using natural lump charcoal. Big Green Egg lump charcoal is made from a selection of 100% hardwoods. It burns hotter and cleaner and lights faster and easier than briquettes. The amount of ash produced is a fraction of what briquettes produce, which means less frequent ash removal is required. Use either our electric lighter or our natural fire starters and you'll be ready to cook in about 10 minutes; never use lighter fluid.

Fire Starters

Our Fire Starters are made from sawdust and paraffin and are very effective for quickly and easily lighting lump charcoal without imparting a chemical taste. A box contains 24 cubes. The Electric Starter, if you prefer that method of lighting, will light the charcoal in about eight minutes.

Each type of wood will impart a different flavor to every meat or other food with which it is used, resulting in an endless variety of new flavor combinations. We are pleased to introduce our new product, the EGGcelerator! The EGGcelerator fans the lump charcoal at initial lighting for faster start-up times, especially in high altitude situations. The unit easily attaches onto the draft door of the XLarge, Large or Medium EGGs. Once the EGG® has obtained the desired cooking temperature, the unit is switched off and removed. The EGGcelerator requires 8 AA Batteries (not included), an optional power adapter will be available soon.
